About the maker: Jarrod produces our beautiful footstools from his workshop near Kidwelly in South Wales. He is inspired by the heritage fabrics of Wales, Scotland and Ireland and turns them into these special and unique items, all featuring his signature wooden mouse.

This is a beautifully made item of furniture. Excellent materials and even a wooden mouse scurrying up the leg. However, it is a lot smaller than we expected, and perhaps only suitable for a child. But a nice item.

This foot stool was so appreciated by my mother as it has many uses - to put her feet up on when resting and to sit on it and be able to open the drawers to get her clothes out, since her balance is not so good. She is delighted with this and especially likes the softness of the seat, the stableness of it and also the mouse on the leg - it made her laugh!
