Handthrown Ceramic Home Fragrance - Cynefin
Welsh Otter

Available to order with 3 working day delivery in the UK.
This is a little piece of ceramic art and fragrance in one. Each beautiful pot is painstakingly hand thrown on a potter's wheel, before being glazed and filled with either scented wax (for the candle) or fragrance oil (for the diffuser).
Set in skilfully hand thrown containers with a fresh blue glaze.
'Cynefin' is a Welsh word with no direct translation into English. It is typically translated as 'habitiat' - however the true meaning is wider and more cultural than that. It refers to a sense of belonging to the land, of lived experiences of the landscape, and a sense of rootedness or place.
The fragrance is Lemongrass and Ginger, containing top notes of ground ginger roots, followed by mouth watering lemongrass with a hint of freshly grated lemon peel and coriander seeds.

About the maker- Bougie Cannwyll is run by Karen from the Garw Valley in the heart of the beautiful South Wales. She hand-throws all the candle bowls and diffuser bottles on a potter's wheel using a buff white clay before firing in the kiln on-site at her farm. The fragrances Karen uses have been inspired by her time living in Wales and the beautiful welsh coastline and countryside.
